The majority of our getaways start with a road trip. Whether it’s a short or long drive, we have got a system down for packing for a successful car ride. It all starts with packing the best road trip snacks.
How you pack the inside of your vehicle can make for a smooth ride. Having easy access to your road trip snacks and drinks is key. Having a large family equals a lot of luggage in the back of our SUV. Planning ahead helps us know where we want each suitcase to be stored. Before tossing things into the vehicle, we lay it out. The cooler always goes in first so the passengers in the backseat can have easy access to it.
No need to reduce their leg room by putting the cooler on the floor. By keeping the cooler right up against the back seat, the back passengers can reach over without having to stop the car.
I always pack a mix of snacks. From fresh fruit that we keep chilled to our favorite GOOD THiNS that are guaranteed to last the whole trip, until we eat them all.
When packing snacks for your road trip, you may skip the cracker aisle not expecting to find snacks with real ingredients. Produce may spoil after a long car ride but GOOD THiNS starts with the real stuff!
GOOD THiNS start with real ingredients (like wheat, potato, and rice), combined with enticing flavors (like garlic, spinach and sweet potato) and baked thin and crispy without any artificial flavors, colors, cholesterol, partially hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup.
60% less fat than the leading regular fried potato chip, GOOD THiNS- The Potato One- Sweet Potato has quickly become a family favorite. Sweet Potato GOOD THiNS are made with real sweet potatoes.
We’ve been eating GOOD THiNS for quite some time and finally ventured out to try more flavors of the yummy crisp snack. With goodness baked into every bite, it’s easy to make GOOD THiNS our go-to road trip snack.
Not only are our road trip snacks good for munching along the drive, we also pack enough to have something to snack on at our hotel. Our recent trip we were located downtown of the city, with not many nearby options beyond restaurants. After a long drive, we wanted to relax in our room without rushing to find food.
We picked up the two new flavors: GOOD THiNS- The Beet One- Balsamic Vinegar & Sea Salt and GOOD THiNS- The Wheat One- Ancient Grains.
Rediscover wheat with ancient grains like quinoa, amaranth & millet. Baked deliciously thin & crispy. Age-old grains for the new age. Made with 100% whole grain wheat; GOOD THiNS- The Wheat One- Ancient Grains.
A baked snack with a delicious tangy twist. Root for the Beet! Flavored with balsamic vinegar and sea salt, GOOD THiNS- The Beet One- Balsamic Vinegar & Sea Salt can now be found on shelves.
When packing our road trip snacks, I always toss extra zip-close baggies and clothes pins in our snack tote to keep everything fresh once opened. The clothes pin will fit down inside the box and hold the bag closed.
I found my GOOD THiNS- The Potato One- Sweet Potato at my local Kroger. Find your local Kroger/Kroger Family of Stores to get your GOOD THiNS.

Great tips! We road trip from Arizona to Southern California often and I feel like a snack packing pro. We also bring small containers to pass back when we are eating in the car. #client
