Today, Sunday, March 26th was the last day of tulip season at Texas Tulips in Pilot Point, Texas. We ventured out in hopes of capturing some beautiful photos and selecting a few pretty tulips for our home vase.
When you first arrive at Texas Tulips you receive a basket for holding the stems you pick.
I love the variety of tulips they offer and cannot wait to visit again next season.
I was pretty bummed we missed seeing all the rows full. Several rows were completely empty. The owner said they had a crowd of over 2,000 people throughout the day yesterday!
Although most of the tulips were either fully bloomed and beyond what I wanted to pick or already gone, I still enjoyed viewing what was left.
I was able to still gather four tulips that I loved.
I picked two pink and two purple that will look nice together in a single vase.
When it came time to leave, upon purchasing they wrapped my bouquet in tissue paper and covered the bottom of the stems with gel to keep them fresh.
