Vegas can be an expensive place to stay, but it can also be crazy cheap if you know where to look. Here are the best places to stay in Las Vegas that won’t break the bank. I use a combination of sites and apps to show me the latest and greatest deals in Las Vegas. Vegas is one of those towns that you can find great hotel rates a month or so out and also that very same night!
Caesars Entertainment manages Caesars Palace, Paris, Bally’s, Harrah’s, Flamingo, Rio, Planet Hollywood and the Quad. By checking out the main Caesars Entertainment website, you can see all the current specials for all of their hotels. They have everything from a free breakfast every day of your stay to stay two nights and get the third night free deals. The deals change all the time and it is best to keep looking back to see what has popped up. For the least expensive stay, it will usually be the Quad which is undergoing a major remodel from its days as Imperial Palace. The front of the hotel is beautiful, but the rooms have not been renovated yet. You definitely get what you pay for – but if you need a $20 per night room, The Quad delivers.
Next up would be Bally’s and the Rio. Both hotels have very spacious rooms and tend to offer last minute deals to help fill the rooms. Bally’s is right on the strip and the Rio is just a few minutes away. The Rio has the VooDoo Lounge which has an amazing view of the strip. You can find the rates for these rooms starting at $45 per night when the deals are happening.
My go-to app is Kayak as it shows the hotels and lists them out from least expensive to something that will definitely break the bank. Once you click on the hotel it shows all the websites that have specials and what their respective prices are. Sometimes it will be on Kayak and sometimes it will be on Expedia or TripAdvisor. It is a great tool to use to do research!
The other hotels that always have screaming deals on the strip are Excalibur, the remodeled Tropicana, Circus Circus, Hard Rock Café, and the Las Vegas Hilton (LVH). Two of my favorites, South Point and Sun Coast, are on the south end of the Strip and are beautiful properties with great rooms and prices that won’t break the bank.
Have fun in Vegas and save the money on the hotels for great shows like Zumanity or the Jersey Boys!
