One of my favorite parts of traveling is the variety in cuisine. It is always nice to taste the different kinds of food around the world and compare them to back home. Since we are not always able to travel to our dream destinations when we want, preparing treats at home is a way to get a ‘taste’ of other countries from your home kitchen.

We’re huge fans of Little Passports and use them as our geography curriculum for our homeschool (1st grade). I love that they always include information, recipes and even a little token from the featured country. We’re doing their United States program right now and when we’re done with that we’ll probably go back to the world program.
And those bars look amazing!
